Compact, defined. Pomegranate/plum/dark berry fruits. A white chocolate mousse/creamy dairy chocolate flavour/texture amalgam. On the finish, a charry/smokey impression. Sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia, the wine is known for its full-flavoured style with excellent Shiraz and Cabernet fruit, firm yet well-rounded structure and balanced oak. COLOUR Deep crimson with ruby red hues NOSE A primarily fruit driven nose, with lovely notes of raspberries, red cherries, cranberry, and blackcurrants. From the baker, black forest cake, vanilla sponge and hints of dark Dutch cocoa powder. Further inspection reveals spice notes, paprika, turmeric and white pepper with a meaty charcuterie aroma providing further enticement. PALATE Sweet plush fruit, raspberry, cranberry, black currant, black forest fruits. The acidity is fresh and lively on the palate with a juicy finish.
